QRO Solutions have recently supplied their first renewable energy solution for ANPR deployment, in a remote location, for one of their existing clients. The solution is designed to support either an MAV Rapier IQ or Hikvision iDS ANPR intelligent camera and provides power 24/7 365 days a year.
The use of this technology is a first for QRO and provides further opportunities for deployment for QRO’s customers.
James Bristow, QRO’s UK Business Development Manager stated, “A number of our customers have shown interest in this technology for some time, but the power requirements of the cameras meant the solution was just not viable. Advances in the camera technology have resulted in lower power consumptions meaning renewable energy now being a viable option”.
