QRO have acquired all Intellectual Property rights to the NASBOX and associated Nexus software from Telematics Technologies LLP. The technology is currently utilised with the HIK Vision TCM and 7 series range of ANPR cameras. The product ensures ANPR data delivery through existing conventional protocols, such as UTMC and BOF2 Web Services and provides image cropping and additional syntax correction to support Schengen Countries licence plate formats.
The acquisition demonstrates QRO’s appetite to utilise the latest technology whilst providing a cost-effective solution to new and existing clients. Furthermore, the ownership transfer displays the Petards Group ambitions to invest and grow the enforcement division by not only enhancing QRO’s ANPR offerings in the Emergency Services market, but now establishing access to other vertical markets through existing NAS Box distribution chains.
