The system will automatically capture all the vehicle registration numbers entering and leaving a secured site using video cameras located next to vehicle entrances and exits. It will compare all captured registration numbers against lists of registration numbers of target vehicles held in one or more target list.

When a match is found between a capture vehicle registration number and a target vehicle an alarm is activated in less than a second. An alarm can be in the form of an audible tone or a radio transmission message via a transmitter to a pager or via a data card to a mobile phone. A directly controlled transmitter can produce a pager message in less than 4 seconds from a target vehicle registration number being captured.The system can cover a radius of 3Km from the transmitter. The system will also capture and store a digital image of the vehicle, the vehicle registration number and if required, an image of the driver of the vehicle.

The system provides full retrieval of vehicle images from a database that may be searched by registration number or time and date parameters. The system can access security databases located remotely from the site. System will automatically remove records of vehicle movements after a specified period of time. The system can be used to identify non-authorised vehicle or to track vehicle movements whilst on site.
